Monument Valley
The Monument Valley (Navajo: Tsé Biiʼ Ndzisgaii) is a plain on the Colorado Plateau at the southern border of the US state of Utah, as well as in northern Arizona and lies within the Navajo Nation Reservation near the village of Mexican Hat in Utah, is administered by the Navajo and is therefore not a state protected area like the nearby Navajo National Monument. It is known for its table mountains and has often served as a backdrop for filming.
