Dead HorsePoint State Park

The Dead Horse Point State Park is a 21.7 km² state park in Utah in the immediate vicinity northeast of Canyonlands National Park. From the southern tip, one has a special view from a height of 1731 m to the Colorado River that is more than 600 m lower and makes a 180° turn at this point. The State Park can be reached via SR 313 from Moab. There is a visitor center and a campsite.
