Lednice CZ
Lednice Castle (German: Eisgrub) is situated near Lednice in the Czech Republic, in Okres Břeclav, near the Austrian border. It was built by the people of Liechtenstein in the 13th century and remained in the possession of the Liechtenstein family until its expropriation in 1945. The castle is part of the Lednice-Valtice cultural landscape, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The castle is one of the most visited architectural monuments in the Czech Republic. In 2010 it was the target of 325,000 visitors in front of the castle and the palace in Český Krumlov with 292,000 tickets sold.
